Somebody has to take the guys OSU passes on. Without knowing the specifics, it's likely they are every bit as good as whoever Michigan produces. The homers are good, though. They develop the fanbase and create bridges for future classes.

well to be fair, a 280 lb bench is very poor for a lineman of that size. But they are looking at him for the football team, not the powerlifting team, so it's not a huge deal.

Rivals - Matthias has what it takes $

Working on improving 40 speed and bench. Being recruited heavily by MSU and UofM. Also hearing from Illinois, Purdue, ND, and Iowa. Deciding which summer camps to attend.

aside from what Dre says I think he gets offers by Um and MSU in the summer when they have a chance to see him and his development.

That is an impressive offer. Wisconsin loves the big road graters but they have to be able to move in their system where even the tackles do a large amount of pulling.

The bench press (IMO) for an OL who is a junior in high school is about last on my list of importance. I would ask 3 questions; 1) can they move their feet
2) can they move their feet
3) can they move their feet.

I like to see OT's that play basketball (mobility) and DT's that wrestle ( shed hands)

It will be interesting to see how a Wisconsin offer accelerates other teams involvement.

Despite my skepticism, my inside information has an official offer coming on Wed. Michigan is most likely out, not because of an offer not coming but because of the type of linemen Michigan desires. It's most likely going to come down to MSU-Wisc. if an offer does come on Wed.

Thanks DrTre. That Wiscy offer is an eye-opener. You know those guys are going to do their homework on an out of state O-lineman.

They saw something they liked. Historically Wiscy likes to see their lineman at summer camp just like us. It is a good sign.

Didn't get offered. Sounds like they are delaying without having to say they are delaying an offer.

Though the coaching staff wants to see him in camp, he is one step closer to an offer with Barrent committing to Iowa with little hope of flipping him
