First of all, we're talking about a 17 year old. Is he going to waver on big decisions? Of course. I know as an adult, I waver on big decisions all the time.

Secondly, he camped at MSU when Nichol was there and I'm guessing that he saw how talented Nichol is. I don't want to say too much, but also keep in mind that their are multiple people that have a big impact on a kid's decision and others can be swayed by the Nichol commitment as well. It didn't matter that Nichol was committed to MSU and Matthias was a Michigan fan. UM being out of the picture completely now also plays to the fact that he can sway toward the green and white. Keep in mind not all kids have the die-hard hatred we have for the rival.

Lastly, all of this is fact. Not my brother's friend told me type of stuff. Just trust that I'm not posting hearsay stuff. I know it's hard given the fact that so many people do it. Not the case here.

Looking like 80% Wisc., 20% MSU, 0% UofM

so the Nichol transfer caused him to go from 100% wisky to 80%? hmmmm...not really much of a change.

It was enough to prevent a sure thing commitment, gives MSU some more time to recruit him. Will it matter in the end, probably not. Interesting though. Just an update, wasn't intending it to be world changing news.

I guess some of the posters here dont understand the relationships with the QB and their O-Line.

Your initial post re: Nichol and "the tides turning" sounded much better than 80/20. But hey, better than 100/0 I guess.

Yeah, I know. If it sounds all over the place, it is because that is exactly what the situation is like right now. Conversation earlier in the day had the things getting interesting and then another important conversation later had it looking more like 80% to Wisc.. once things were reanalyzed. Once again, 17 year old.

Any news on this DrTre? There have been rumors on other boards about Matthias leaning a different way?

He was never going to suit up for us in the first place he wanted to be a scum boy so lets move on to more talented prospects like the treadwells of the world.
