We would have to be ranked #1 for centers in the position rankings if we got him to.

That's my guess as well.

This kid would be a great get. I think that we may have a decent shot if tOSU does not offer.

I know everyone is in a hurry to sign up a buch of big uglies with Caper and Baker in tow, but have faith and some patience in Coach D and his staff's offer process. If you can just wait 2-3 more weeks, we will have a great crop of kids to pick from on the O & D Lines...

Bucknuts story

Here's a free Bucknuts story on him from last Fall:

http://bucknuts.com/news/story.php?article=1944

One thing about those Ohio kids, there's always free information about them on the web that you can google.

He sounds like a Buckeye fan. But that's not unusual for Ohio either of course.

Another link with a profile of him:

everyone in ohio is a buckeye fan because there isnt another power school to root for. ohio state already have 15 commits so there isnt a lot of room left on that team. i like our chances though

You can get a 4.0 in high school by being very smart or you can get it by working hard. HS is easy enough that you can work your way to a 4.0. Therefore, this kid is most likely a hard worker and that's a plus! Besides, 24 is pretty dang good. Nothing to be ashamed of at all.

People who think Treadwell will be playing D, I kinda doubt it, we'll have Worthy as a RS frosh, Pickleman as a RS soph and 2 Jr.s at DT (like the depth). He wouldn't crack the 2 deep till his RS Soph season.

I see Treadwell playing C after nitchman graduates in 2 seasons.

The above article from JJHuddle raves about him being a rare true center, so you'd have to think he'd end up there in college if he's that good snapping the ball.

IMO that would be Treadwell who is more of a guard than a center.

Klatt is definitely one of the most pure centers in the class this year.

Thanks! However, I'm a bit surprised that they have him as a 4* given that list and how much offers weigh on rankings.

He was injured last year so that has affected his offers.

Ah, I see. Thanks.

Sparten00: I just scoured Bucknuts and there's nothing on there about Klatt since the middle of May. Where are you seeing that they're fearing a commitment to MSU?

He wasn't injured that bad. Played thru it all season but affected him a little bit.

Also the word is coming from the premium board and yes there is a rumor of him committing but nothing confirmed at this point.

Found the Bucknuts link:

It's premium, but the headline looks promising to say the least.

If anyone has time, it looks like Bucknuts premium content is available for free throughout June! I have no Internet access at home due to recent weather issues, and I'm posting this from work where I can't view my E-mail in the registration confirmation step, so I can't do this, but if anyone has time, all they ask for is a username and & E-mail address, then you have to click a link in an E-mail sent to that address to verify your account. At that point, you can access the above post:

Bucknuts.com - FREE PREMIUM… All Through the Month of June!

I have read the post and it pretty much says what is in the title. Nothing confirmed and one in their said not a huge loss and he was more of a backup plan for them.

Their Mod said he thought he was waiting on an offer but didn't throw it out and said it would be a good get.
