How may WR's are they planning on taking for this class? I would imagine that White has the ability to play DB as well, correct?

Nice. Beat out OSU/Cinci/scUM and Oregon for him. Benches 265 and runs a sub 4.5 forty. Very NICE Coach D. Keep hammering Ohio my friend. ( I told a guy the other day: if you took THE best talent out of Ohio that OSU doesn't get..........it's not a bad thing at all)

Not sure if coaches like him at DB or WR...he worked out WR at recent camp (I believe it was the same NIKE camp at OSU in which he started to 'blow up' with his excellent performance).

Gives the staff flexibility with the remainder of this class based on who we can get. e.g. if a top WR comes our way, White could be DB or if we load up on solid DBs (Hunter, McDougald etc) then he could be WR.

Also, for clarification, he did not have an OSU offer.

I wonder if this means C. Gordon is out (as a WR anyways)

for the record, what were his offers??

And MD has said repeatably that he likes kids who play multiple positions so he can be flexible.

Sounds like a good get, kinda out of left field, but a good get

Welcome Mr. White. Enjoy your stay with MSU. You'll have the best years of your life there and hopefully some great memories of championships that Coach Dantonio is working hard to bring to MSU.

I know, I'm just trying to size the kid up in my own humble opinion. I hadn't heard much about him until he committed

Great news and welcome to the Spartan family Mr. White. Apparently his brother was quite the athlete until some pretty major injuries derailed his hs career. This article says that his brother will try to walk on wherever he signs. Keep up the good work .

Two sets of White brothers!!!

Patrick
Patrick's brother Terence
Blair (although Blair and Austin wouldn't be there at the same time, lol)
