Impressive looking prospect that I'd like to have in green, and I think there is a good shot that that will happen. If he ends up here I'll have to go catch a couple games.

Does anyone know how fast he is, or have his 40 time?

From our one day camp this month

Quote:
Micajah Reynolds of Lansing Sexton high School, Michigan:

The big lineman from Sexton High measured in at an imposing 6-foot-5, 315-pounds and had a very strong showing. We spoke with Reynolds about the camp and his performance.

"The coaching staff said I did real well. I was able to talk with Coach Roushar and Coach Staten for a while," he said. "It was a great experience for me. I am going back to Michigan State this Friday to get a chance to work with Coach Roushar again. Hopefully if things go well I will get a scholarship offer."

Reynolds already has a Big Ten offer from the Indiana Hoosiers and a host of MAC programs have also pulled the trigger. While Reynolds indicated to us that at this point he does not have a favorite, he did say that getting a Spartan offer would be a great honor and something he is hoping for.

One of the advantages Reynolds may have over some other offensive line prospects is that he is already well over the 300-pound mark and still moves very well. Michigan State's offense is predicated on powerful offensive linemen; Reynolds certainly fits that mold. Reynolds did not hurt his chances of getting a Spartan offer with his performance.

I think the staff is waiting to see where the Ohio prospects fall. Guys like Spiker, Longo, Thornton, Klatt are all waiting on tOSU to make their decision on whether or not to offer...

If everything falls our way, we will take 2-3 OH kids and Reynolds in the end.

Read from the article that he's a good prospect, but the biggest project out of the 5 top lineman at camp and was winded easily, but that he probably has the highest ceiling. Sounds like easy fixes to me, in regards to strength and conditioning and technique. He has the basic things you can't teach tho, size and power.

Welcome aboard Micajah!!

You can teach this, but the less you have to teach, the better

DOn't worry about his conditioning, we won't have to use him until his RS Soph season anyways. Plenty of time to get it all together.

You want to know what has me really excited? These guys are committing to MSU INSTANTLY when they get the offer! (I mean Dixon and Reynolds) Now, neither of them are 5 star prospects, but they are not "sleeper" reach guys either. These were two three star prospects, with, in the case of Dixon, multiple BCS offers. When these guys were offered by us, they stated "that was the one I was waiting for". That is a good sign. These guys could have waited, attended more camps, and gotten many more offers, but they did not.

I hope it stays like that in the state for the near future, and then we can branch out and have that mindset spread into Ohio, Illinois, Penn, etc.

Build up that OL, get em ready to block for Baker and Caper and protect Maxwell's blind side so he can hit Spencer or White. I'm liking what I'm seeing. Excellent work !!!.
