Does anyone know how hard is pushing for this kid? His clips were impressive. That entire O-line looked very good.

He looks a little rough around the edges but nothing he can't be coached on. As for his size, well that's something you can't coach. This kids is huge!!! Need all the big guys we can get to open holes for Baker and Caper.

I was surprised to see that we didn't have a thread for him yet, so threw this together last night. Hope to hear more from him as it appears he blew up this Spring after moving to Ohio.

He moved to Ohio from Meridian, Idaho where he was the State 285 lb. Wrestling Champion. He currently has offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Illinois and Washington State. He doesn't seem to have any ties to Midwest schools but may have visited Washington State; thus the Offer.

I don't know who the orange is but I would be surprised if it was Thornton. He is coming up this weekend and just don't see why he would rush and commit before even seeing the campus.

Would be a pleasant surprise though.

Well, a "hint" was possibly given. *Huge* was either misspelled.......or it wasn't. We'll see in a day to two.

Anyone have any idea why the Thornton thread on Recruiting Planet is the only thread that is locked? Are they keeping just anyone from posting about a potential commit?

There is another clue indicating this is the orange/red.

I just watched his video and even given the fact he's playing against high schoolers, I don't remember seeing another kid's video where he absolutely pancakes his opponent on every down like Thornton. I couldn't believe his video....could be an awesome pickup if this is the orange.

From what I hear, Klatt and Thornton could be on the way.

That would make a great OL class, especially if we end up with Spiker as well.

Rivals - "Thornton likes 3" $

This was just put up yesterday, and you wouldn't think anything would change that dramatically. With that said, I doubt he would have told the Illinois rivals guy, "I'm thinking about commiting to Michigan State tomorrow".

Everyone is saying he's from Ohio. Do we know for sure if he's an offensive lineman? If so, I guess there would only be two guys who it could possibly be...

There's some background information and good insights in his thread on BP:
