Did anyone catch him on ESPN2 for the LB skills challenge? Apparently there was a 'tire flipping' portion and he was the only one that could complete. Couldn't watch anyone have video clip/recap?

Not exactly correct....they all flipped it, he just did it the fastest and won the contest by a few seconds. I'm trying to temper my expectations with him for next year, but he's a f-ing monster.

Gholston won the Burger King lineman challenge. Anyone see it?

Quote:
The final competition was the lineman challenge. The foursome of defensive ends Alfy Hill (Shallotte, N.C./West Brunswick), Adrian Hubbard (Norcross, Ga./Norcross) and William Gholston (Detroit/Southeastern), and future LSU tight end Travis Dickson (Ocean Springs, Miss./Ocean Spring) patiently waited for more than an hour, with Gholston engaging in fun-loving discussions about his intent to win.
The 6-7, 250-pound end more than delivered, winning by nearly three seconds over Hubbard and Hill.
"You know how long I've been wanting to do this?" Gholston said. "I've been waiting for this for a while. This is one of the reasons I came to the Under Armour game is to show everyone I'm better. I'm also one of only two players here from Michigan and I had to prove to people like I said I would. I had to win one for the Big Ten today."
For Gholston's efforts, he received a trophy plus the football he carried over the goal line to win the event.

I watched the competition. I was the last of the 4 players to go. He helped announce the first 3 guys. Seemed like a intelligent kid. If you see the times he won by about 2-3 seconds. He did the tire flip faster, possibly after watching others struggle, and had the benefit of an easy to find football. There was a white ball in with a bunch of other balls, between some cones they had to find and run with. He looked in and grabbed his right away. He definitely looked the role though. Him and 2 others looked good, one guy looked a bit slower than they did.

Hope he enjoyed it, his team won't be beating Gholston's next fall.
