#163 on the Rivals 250 was offered by today.

http://michiganstate.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=924805

He says he really likes this offer and is very interested because he knows MSU runs the football a lot and liked to pound the rock with Javon Ringer.

Offers from Michigan State, Florida State, Auburn, LSU, Oklahoma, USF, Stanford, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Central Florida.

Big time prospect with no current leaders.

How many RB's are we taking this year? I thought we were pretty much set with Caper and Baker with the possibility of getting Austin White

A student at the school I am at told me that they told him that they are only planning on taking one running back this year....

....FWIW, he also mentioned that the coaches hinted that they wanted more of a power back...

There's the problem. I'm not very confident that White ends up in Green and White when everything is said and done.

I don't think anyone knows for sure, but based on the scarcity of offers to RB's thus far, I would guess that will take 1 true RB and then an ATH or two with position flexibility.

Sounds about right to me. I think Storm fits the description of a bruising, power back based on his size and highlight video (He says he's 6'1 and 215 in the AMP interview). He also mentioned in the recent update that he is going to see who the other schools offer at RB so I think it will be to 's advantage that he'll only be taking one RB in this class.

Additionally, Storm said that he wants to leave Georgia and have a new experience.

He says in his new AMP video that he has a big package. That's usually an indication that he's SEC bound, given the looseness of the women.

Package size aside, I think whether state is planning on 0 or 1 or 2 RB in this class, if Storm wants to come, MSU should definitely make room for him. This guy looks like he'll be a good one.

"LSU one, Florida two, Oklahoma three, Michigan State four and Penn State," the four-star recruit said of his initial shortlist.

Just read via Rivals that he has reopened his search for school. He says that FSU is the new leader but also is interested in MSU, OSU, Penn State, and others. He said it was a total of 12 schools thats he is, back, interested in.

It's good that we are still being considered by Storm, but the southern schools may be tough to beat. He'd be a great compliment to MSU's current RB's. Hopefully we get him here on an official visit.

Which ones? (between the 6 that'll be back next year, I'm sure he'll not compliment someone)

I would assume that the last back oon the depth chart is likely going to transfer. I would be surprised if someone was willing to sit behind Caper and Baker throughout their career. There could be two transfers, there could be none, but I think it is safe to assume that there is a good chance that there will be one transfer.

Also, with two freshman possibly going to start it's fair to say that Coach D will play the best players regardless if they are a freshman or a senior. Storm is built similiar to Leggett, but he runs like Caper. He cold be a power back with good speed in this offense, probably a good compliment to Caper and Baker. I doubt he leaves the south, FSU may get a RB commit soon from another player, but he will probably try to stay in the south. Hopefully, MSU can get him to visit and try to get him. Even if he were to redshirt, he would have two years between him and our other talented RB's, though he would probably get the chance to play earlier at MSU.
