I run a 12 team with the following rather popular starting lineup:

1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1 RB or WR
1 TE
1 K
1 Def/ST

That's 9 starters 7/ bench and we draft 16 rounds--yes it gets thin, but makes it interesting.

Agree on the Gonzo comment
