PS - How did this "engineer" get close enough to the molten metal to say it was molten?
I used to ask this question all the time when I worked in industrial instrumentation. People would say crap like, "It over 500 degrees in that room. Will that thermometer hold up to that heat?" My response was, "Sure, but who are you going to send in to read it?"
Ummm one remote therm coming up Mr. Engineering genius. Thanks for letting me spec your project with common sense.
