Anyone who knew anything about Saban and his past had to know he would seriously consider the Alabama job regardless of what he was saying publicly.

He got angry, and
categorically denied any interest in the Alabama job. Have you seen the iron-clad, pro-Miami/anti-Alabama statements he's made during the last week or so?
A simple 'no comment' would suffice. He didn't have to go over the top and get pissed off about something he was actually involved in behind closed doors.
