I agree with you. This picture was BEFORE his senior year. There are a ton of HS kids that have natural strength and lift very little or they are still growing into their bodies. This kid has had two years of Strength and Conditioning. Don't forget that most players get a weight program before they arrive on campus. This bulk could also be from Creatine or so other supliment that are legal.

Big Al gained mass when he came to MSU similarly. He never really lifted until he arrived. Let's not be too quick to judge. He could get this large with heavy lifting and suppliments. Also, your muscles expand after lifting and he has clearly just lifted.
