The Verizon script trashing Apple and iPhone was also leaked on the Interwebs a few weeks ago--most of the major wireless carriers sent prepared scripts and FAQs about the iPhone to each of their brick and mortar stores in an attempt to stop their customers from jumping ship when they realized they couldn't use an iPhone on their networks.
Doesn't look like that strategy worked.
