They offer installation services too for $20, but many will have no trouble at all doing it themselves. Considering that this is only the first company to offer it, there will be at least a dozen more companies offering the same service within a year, which will drive the cost down even more. By the time one really needs to be replaced for the average user, you'll be able to have the whole thing done for $25-30.
As I said before, the battery isn't much of an issue at all. A non-issue really. By the time it needs to be replaced, most will want a new iPhone anyway.
