And he's not a "good closer" by any definition. He's mediocre (and I like to stay on point), but since he's a mediocre closer on our team, "fans" like to make more of that than they should. I'm just here to speak truth to power, my friend...........

I've been involved in many other Jones threads and have not seen a single post saying he's one of the best closer due to save or save %. They may have said that he is in the top 5 in saves in the league (true statement) or that he is good because of those stats, but thats it. And yes he is a good closer. Just because there are other better closers doesn't mean that Jones can't be considered a good closer. You can't seem to grasp that there can be 20 good closers in baseball since that means that 5 of them have to be in the bottom half at their position.
