Missing Pieces are an exclusive set of spin-off episodes available on mobile phone devices. As of yet, it is unknown whether these clips will be exclusively flashbacks, or whether they will feature the island in any clips. Originally conceived in November 2005, it was to be the producers of
LOST teaming up with Verizon Wireless to create a series of Mini-Episodes about the lives of characters who survived Flight 815, but we have not seen yet. Production was held for two years while negotiations were made with the the Directors Guild of America, the Screen Actors Guild and the Writers Guild of America. At the moment there are thirteen of these "mobisodes" planned.
