Bad news, Texas just offered ATH DJ Grant from Texas that we were in on. He was supposed to visit last weekend but couldnt make it and should be here this weekend still. Dantonio and Iowa State were the first to offer this Texas sleeper but since his senior year film has come out his stock has skyrocketed and he has gotten offers from Oklahoma, Ok St, and now Texas to name a few. The Texas offer is HUGE IMO because it will be a big battle to convince a texas kid to pick
MSU over Texas. The best thing we can do is offer early PT.

Grant had an outstanding sophomore season as he was a first team all-District defensive end but an injury shortened his junior season. He is now back and is making on both sides of the ball as a linebacker and receiver. He has good speed for an edge pass rusher in high school, but right now he looks like a
project safety built in the Sean Taylor mold. Grant is reporting offers from Iowa State and Rice.
