Long term um doesn't change much, though they're still a good team. I said bad hire, but only meaning that RR isn't the guy to get um to in the NC picture.
I also really wonder about um hiring a spread coach. It makes sense for NU because they can't get the athletes to play smashmouth BT football and they need the spread to compete. Look at PU, after initial success with the spread they've plateaued. It worked against weak teams at
MSU, but um, OSU, PSU & Wisconsin really didn't have much of a problem with it.
WVU was a good team in a week conference. Losing to a very average Pitt team with a NC game shot at stake, at WVU wouldn't instill a lot of confidence in me if I were a wolvie.
