Maybe he always felt that the only reason he got an offer from
MSU was because he was a legacy, and he wanted to go some place where they wanted him for him, not because of what his dad did 20 years ago. Considering that he had no other BCS offers, it's very possible that that was the reason
MSU did offer in the first place. However, I do know that the staff thought he was a heck of a player. But that doesn't always mean that they have room for him.
If he really wanted to go to
MSU, Junior had plenty of chances to commit. He wanted to get some love from FSU, Miami, or an SEC school. Meanwhile,
MSU filled up with DBs, and now he's going to CMU.
