I really like the fact that he's grown a couple inches, make him an even bigger safety. If his coach wants him to get a shot to play qb, I would take a guess that Charles does as well. MSU probably won't give him a shot, but if U of M does, the temptation to switch could be there.

I don't know, MD and Treadwell would probably give him some reps to see what he could do. There's no downside to it except ending up with an intense competition for the QB spot which isn't really a bad thing. That said, no one appears to have recruited the kid as a QB until now. The fact that um is recruiting Burrell as a QB, at the same time as they're trying to get Pryor seems a little incongrous, those two don't get mentioned together a lot in discussions of top QB's.
Sounds more to me like RR would use the QB talk to lure Burrell away, and then give him a token shot. If um gets Pryor, Burrell is out of luck at QB from the start. I'd say RR is trying to steal a good secondary recruit by using the QB talk, forcing the
MSU staff take manpower away from other recruits to try and retain Burrell. Weren't some of the magenta recruits from um?
