After the debates, they had this little focus group, or whatever you call it and Thompson was the big winner and at the end...Paul was the consensus loser. Later on, however, they showed a poll saying many felt Paul had won!
Did you catch how mad Hume got when Paul began to answer his leading question, questioning the judgment of the ship commanders in not shooting at those speed boats? Hume stops Paul, claiming that all the 'gates of hell'/
'72 virgins' answers were passivity. It was he, Brit Hume, who made is sound as if the commanders had been weak.
