He is a hard kid to read. Its not like we could expect a commitment from him. We are getting him on campus, which is big and we were able to focus a lot on those two players.
I am not sure we get Perry but I like the shape we are in for him. Not saying he is a lock or whatever but I think we have just as good of a chance as anyone.

Perry already said he will decide on signing day. I think he was just taking it all in. We have seen in the past where guys who looked like they were having an amazing time committed to another place so lets not jump to conclusions about anything other than the fact that they were both there tonight for a good basketball game.
We are also not guaranteed that a player verbally commits to us and then signs a letter of intent to another place. I do not think i have to reminded everyone about the cedric everson drama
Finally, what i will be very interested in is where some players end up going based on schools already over the allowed scholarships of that year. Correct me if im wrong but i still think that you can only sign up to 25 players at a maximum and some schools will not be able to sign large classes based on scholarship shortages. I only bring this up because looking at Minnesota (who has 25 verbals) and Illinois (who has 26 verbals), they will not be able to sign everyone, especially Illinois at this point, so maybe we can steal one of their guys. Who knows but it was a good sign to see both Ingram and Perry at the game tonight and the fans showing some love towards them both
