to treadhead: i totally understand. I will be disappointed if we do not get him, but I will not be surprised if we don't. I'm not gonna worry about it. if we get him great, if not it sux, but we'll land some big ones at some point.
to bigm: why do you think state has to land ingram? It would be great if we did, but there are two stellar rbs in michigan next year. caper and the other guy (cant think of his name).

I'm not Big M, but from my perspective, but I'd say the legacy thing is huge. If you can't hold down on of your own legacy guys, that sends a bad message on the recruiting trail and really hurts your perception. It's my opinion (FWIW) that if you lose a legacy guy like Ingram, you REALLY need a good season win-loss wise to make up for it.
