imagine this scenario for perry:
he knows he wants to be close to home, so even though he is flirting w/ usc and miami, he already knows its between
msu and um. he goes to um, and is not blown away by shredriguez or um in general, maybe he doesn't get that warm-tingly. maybe he knows where he wants to go, has an in-home with MD with both parents there and says "you know, coach...i think i want to be at
MSU."
not saying that's the way it has gone or will go down, or that he is who the orange is, but i'm just saying. you don't know what is going through the mind of a recruit. not everybody bolts to the "premier" programs.
also, if everybody was discounting when perry said "and that's what i'm going to play there for" at the banquet, then why is everybody so quick to give up when he lists
msu 4th (in a um interview, no less)
anyway, this is just me being wishful, but at the same time, i have been in sales for a long, long time, and if nothig else, i have the ability to read people, and what i'm reading from perry from afar is that, well, all may not be what it seems.
