not saying that's the way it has gone or will go down, or that he is who the orange is, but i'm just saying. you don't know what is going through the mind of a recruit. not everybody bolts to the "premier" programs.

also, if everybody was discounting when perry said "and that's what i'm going to play there for" at the banquet, then why is everybody so quick to give up when he lists msu 4th (in a um interview, no less)

anyway, this is just me being wishful, but at the same time, i have been in sales for a long, long time, and if nothig else, i have the ability to read people, and what i'm reading from perry from afar is that, well, all may not be what it seems.
I hope you're right, mitch. I really do.

I want Perry and Ingram to come to MSU, but not just because they're superb 4* football prospects. They both seem like high character guys who will work hard for any program and have a good head on their shoulders regardless of where they go.

Sometimes you get an athlete who "transcends" and becomes a cornerstone recruit because he's a great person as well. Perry and Ingram seem to be the total package from what I've read and heard. Their abilities and potential as players go without saying, but they could also really stand for something as pillars in a rising football program. At least, that's what I envision.

I'm still holding out hope.
