I don't agree with the premise of his book, God Is Not Great (in fact, the whole premise is misleading and sophomoric, unusual for CH), but his political ear is well tuned.
Priceless on so many levels. BillOGoods, a far-right warrior, advises another poster not to "trivialize Clinton's bigotry" and, to buttress his "argument," links to an article by Christopher Hitchens, a former lefty who jumped ship over Iraq. The article, for those of you who haven't bothered to read it, relies on Dick Morris (professional cynic who, like Hitchens, has worked both sides of the political divide) and calls Toni Morrison "self-hating" because she labeled Clinton the "First Black President." Oh, and no mention of the fact that after Clinton left office he moved to Harlem.

Also priceless, the praise heaped on Hitchens for his acumen except in his views on religion, which BillOGoods derides as misleading and sophomoric. "He's incredibly astute when he agrees with me. When he doesn't, he's an idiot."

For the record, I'm for Obama.
