Ok deal. It's true you're right, we can speculate all we want but we won't be able to judge this class til 4 years from now. Heck I thought St. Dic was worthless until this season, so you never really know. We've had our share of 4 star busts and 2 star studs.
The main part I'm getting frustrated with is just the players that are turning us down. We just can't seem to fill our expected position numbers along the DL, LB, and OL. Last year it was corner. This year we need one more OL but I'm guessing we won't get it as were only going after committed kids now. LB were possibly going to be turned down by a kid picking FAU and one accepting a greyshirt to OSU. These are kids we need to be landing. I know Dantonio will bring in quality kids and good players, I just know for me I get frustrated when were down to the wire and aren't closing the deals on players we should be locking up.
