It's not a shock that State and SCum are going after each others top recruits. In this day and age, a verbal commitment means "I like this team best for this week", so I don't blame either coach trying to get in the last word.
The kids that commit very early tend to be the most solid/loyal kids. Yet Fredo proved even that to be false. It's the uncertainty that makes following recruiting so stressful.

I keep saying it, but we really really need a early signing period, at least for the kids like Norman, Cissoko, Burrell, etc.
