Martin went from unranked to a 5.7. That's a high jump and I doubt a UM commitment would have made him go higher.
And yes, I admit that UM commits/offers get a bump sometimes, but I think that's dramatically overplayed by
MSU fans. UM also has guys that fall throughout the year- see Brandon Moore, McGuffie, Hemingway last year.
