Another Billy Crystal movie...in When Harry Met Sally...
there is a scene wear he's talking to Sally about a girl he just took out on a date. He mentions that during the conversation she said she went to
MSU. This throws him into a frenzy, says it remind him of his ex-wife. Sally's like "wtf? your ex-wife went to Northwestern?". Harry says, "Yeah but they're both B10 schools."
There was an old movie I was watching the other night that had an obscure
MSU reference, now I can't remember what it was
