I'm not bashing him in anyway, he's got awesome size and could develop into a stud RT or something, but his speed is probably what is preventing us from offering at the moment. I'd love for him to be a Spartan,  can find a place for him I'm sure. |
Ben Coats, Ken Dilger, Frank Wycheck etc.. etc.. were all good to great tight ends who didn't have top end speed. 4.8 is plenty fast for a tight end as long as he's quick enough off the line and can catch the ball.
