Yeah but A-rod isnt' actually declining now, he just will in 3 to 4 years. There's no guarantee the league would even last so long. But his numbers are a lot further ahead than Cabrera, Ramirez, and Wright. Reyes hardly even contributes in 2 categories so he's not even close.

A-rod is the best player in baseball for a reason. And 32 is not exactly old for someone of his caliber. Take him and if it really bothers you down the line, trade him for a younger stud later.
