Actually, we are in a tough situation with TEs. We need a TE or two for the roster however, it may be hard to recruit them considering the players on the depth chart in front of any potential commit are so young. Don't forget that we do have 4 scholarship TEs on the roster as of right now and none of them are seniors this year. When the class of 2009 gets on campus, this is what the depth chart ahead of them will look like.

Unless a 2009 TE commit really stands out and beats players ahead of them, they are looking at the potential of not seeing the field as a starter until their redshirt junior season in 2012.
It isn't insurmountable by any means, but it isn't like the cupboard is totally empty either.
