Maybe Henton will end up doing what Billy Walker did. Walker wasn't eligible his "senior" season of high school because, due to transfering high schools across state lines and whatnot, he had exhausted the number of semesters he was eligible to play. So, he graduated early and enrolled at Kansas State in December of last year... and played for the Wildcats. If Henton's not going to be eligible his senior year due to MHSAA age restrictions, maybe he'd graduate early and enroll at whatever school he picks in December.
Happens more in football, but of course the football season is usually over by then. Doing it in basketball means you could still play in the conference/postseason portions.
