It was closed to donors only due to the high amount of traffic that was hitting the site. The percentage of people on this site who are donors is very small, so that limits the server load and allows the people who pay to keep it running to be able to continue to use it. Lots of
MSU fans were locked out too, you know. In fact...most of them.
