It happens every year. One thing to remember...the rankings on Rivals and Scout haven't been touched since last August. Every year, there are kids that go from being a top 10 player in August to being outside the top 100 in April (and vice-versa). It is way too early to be worried about our 2009 class. There are kids in the 2009 class that scouts didn't get a chance to see last AAU season, doesn't mean they aren't good. Some AAU programs don't let kids play up a level and scouts don't spend much time watching 16U AAU games, instead they focus on the 17U level (rising seniors).
March is a dead month for recruiting...high school basketball is over and college coaches are preparing for the
NCAA tournament. The AAU season heats up in April, there will be new names on the radar.
