I hate to keep saying it, because it looked like the kid had a good attitude, he worked hard, teammates/crowd seemed to really like him...but man - he takes the term "project" to a whole new level. The guy has trouble finishing against guys half his size.
Honestly, I'm shocked that he's even a consideration. I hope for his sake that I'm wrong, but if he were to sign with MSU tomorrow...I'd be extremely worried about the state of msu basketball (at least as much as one could be with the signing of one recruit...but i'm just sayin')

Yeah. I've seen Nix play. He's definitely a project. He also is an immovable force in the paint. Seriously. No one moves him around.
It did seem like he had fairly soft hands. I'm just enamored with the idea of having a dude down low that you can feed the ball into and won't be afraid of him being pushed away from the basket.
