Welcome to the Michigan Senate for some internships in the legislature. I interned for a year, then got hired as a part-time Legislative Assistant for a State Senator, and have done that for 2 1/2 years while finishing my undergrad, and I'm going to law school in the fall. Its a good background on the making of our laws. As a matter of fact, my office is looking for some interns, to possibly come on as paid part-timers once I leave the office in the fall.
