Look at all the teams ranked in the top 10 of USA Today's high school rankings and look at each team's best player (or two). They're all highly ranked. So either Draymond Green and Saginaw are the biggest exceptions to the rule...or some of these services have lazily missed the boat on Green's all-around skills. You just can't have a team THAT good (ie. borderline top 5 national) without having at least one bonafide legit star. The fact that Daniel West isn't even ranked (in Rivals top 125) is just further evidence that Saginaw's entire team hasn't been evaluated much if any this year, let alone thoroughly.
You would've thought that Saginaw's beating of nationally reknown Toledo Libbey on MLK Jr Day would've shined a light or two on the dramatically underrated Trojan stars...but alas, it didn't happen. And no offense but
my reasoning is based more on facts and common sense than is your devil's advocate hypothetical.
