Thanks, man.
Okay, I am NOT an expert on recruiting nuances and ins and outs. I am a serious
MSU basketball fan (and alum) who's interested in potential recruits.
Trying once again, here's my question. Offering multiple players - got it. But isn't there a risk involved? Assuming one scholarship is set aside for Wilson (that seems likely) and Izzo has made an offer to Kirk, Riley, Howell, and anyone else on a first-come, first serve basis, isn't he risking losing his
preference? He must have one. It seems like it'd be bad for the program's recruiting reputation to offer players then put them on hold when they accept. Is that common too?
Wise, more experienced posters, is that scenario something like what's going on?
Last question, speaking from my humble ignorance:
And if, according to DaChairman (whose accuracy I don't question), Nix was the guy
MSU felt they "had to get," why would those other guys have long standing offers if Nix just received one when he accepted?
