2 years ago I actually had to take a wonderlic for a job with General Mills. It was highly competitive (interviewing 3000 kids across the country for 12 openings). The "first round" was strickly a personally test and wonderlic, and depeding on the results you would get a call back. I was told they took the top 10%. Needless to say I got a call back.
The trick is to answer as many questions as possible. There were 64 questions and we had like 18 minutes. I just blew through and answered all the easy questions, then went back to finish the tougher ones.
There is no penalty for wrong answers, and there are about 40 multiple choice/ true false. Just by filling in all the answers as TRUE or picking A,B,C you would finish with much better than a 6. My guess would be that players who score around 12-16 probably just guess and answer all the questions.
