Okay, so I'm going to work on securing facilities this week for bowling and for softball, but I need to know what days people would be able to participate. The original idea was to do softball on day 1, allow everyone to get cleaned up before they head to the bar, 21yr+ posters get their drink on, and if they want they can show up mildly hungover at the bowling alley on day 2 and use the hair of the dog if necessary without worrying about doing anything strenuous (maintaining balance while bowling might be another matter). If people want to make an all-day thing out of it, that's fine too, I leave it to the people.
Two other things I should bring up: First, we might open the bowling tourney up to the public since we won't have to worry about anything like playing time, jerks taking things way too seriously, etc., and it would also bring in more $. The second thing is that, since some people aren't interested in bowling and some aren't interested in softball, we probably should do this a la carte. If you play in either baseball
or softball, donate a minimum $30, play in both and donate a minimum $45. Or something. I don't want to price anyone out, but at the same time the point is to generate money that can be part of a $30,000 endowment to
MSU. Have at it
