I just thought of Kircher because it looks really cool and far more importantly is right next to Oade's. Price will be the clincher unless there's some giant difference I'm missing.

--edit-- Okay, found the giant difference using the google maps satellite.

Ranney: 200ft to the wall
Kircher: 325ft to the wall

Depending on turnout it might almost be better if we did Kircher. I'd hate to tell 4-8 people to sub out or even worse not play at all after donating. At Kircher we would be able to do an extra outfielder or something. Ah well, this is just idle guessing right now, first thing is to find out the costs of reserving both for a game.
You should be able to have 4 outfielders at Ranney, too... it's like any other softball field. It's a Lansing City park. Kircher has a grass infield and raised mound, so it's really not designed for slow pitch or softball of any kind. I mean, it doesn't really matter to me because I'm probably not coming, but I know I wouldn't want to play softball on a baseball field.
