As someone noted before check out the Irish hills stagecoach stop, MIS, then Freddies Freeze for lunch. West of there it gets a lot more agricultural as opposed to wooded. Too bad you aren't going through in the fall Flavor Fruit Farms grow excellent apples.

Two other places worth noting: The Saucy Dog in Jonesville and The Tasty Nut Shop in White Pigeon. Saucy Dog has great brisket and pulled pork. The Nut Shop has roasted nuts of all types and chocolate covered nuts- don't miss the white chocolate turtles. YUM!!
