In the Discus, there were 15 distances better than hers across the state finals last year... but almost all of those were in D2. She would have easily been Top 5 in any other division. Her throw would have been a record in some UP divisions (separate championship).
In the High Jump, there were only 3 jumps higher than hers across all divisions. She would have won Divisions 2 or 3. Her jump woud be a Division 3 state record and a record in some UP divisons.
In the Long Jump, there was one jump higher than hers across all divisions. She would have easily won divisions 2, 3, or 4. Her jump would be a state record in several divisions (LP UP).
In the 200, there were 3 times faster than hers across all divisions. She would have won divisions 3 and 4. Her time would be a state record in several divisions (LP and UP).
In the 100, there was 1 time faster than hers across all divisions. She would have won divisions 2, 3, and 4. Her time would be a state record in several divisions (LP and UP).
Only in the all-time, all-class, all-meets lists would her times and distances not be among the best. But since a fair number of those seem to be 20 and 30 years old, the comparison doesn't seem very fair. The high jump list has been broken once in this decade - the long jump list hasn't been touched this decade. The discus list has only two entries from this decade. The 200 has only two entries from this decade. The 100 has zero.

In other words , she would not have won any of the events if placed against Michigans' best, ok.......so I was right
Being an individual sport, for the most part, I will be curious what school nabs her.
