As far as calling the coaching staff, do you have the phone records that show they haven't? I haven't the slightest idea who has called the staff or vice versa. I read the sites, talk to people, see a few games, and look for guys I'd like to see at State. And Howell is a guy I'd like at State.
Do you think the recruiting sites just make up lists of schools for the player? No they call, text, email the kids to find out who they like.
MSU was a leader for Howell and mentioned prominently for a long time. So yes, I'd say they are interested in State.
