As far as calling the coaching staff, do you have the phone records that show they haven't? I haven't the slightest idea who has called the staff or vice versa. I read the sites, talk to people, see a few games, and look for guys I'd like to see at State. And Howell is a guy I'd like at State.
Do you think the recruiting sites just make up lists of schools for the player? No they call, text, email the kids to find out who they like. MSU was a leader for Howell and mentioned prominently for a long time. So yes, I'd say they are interested in State.

I believe Ari Stewart mentioned that he hadn't talked to any of the
MSU coaches in months...if he was really interested, why didn't he call them? Kids usually initiate contact, they call coaches all the time. Be careful with information from recruiting sites, especially recruit interviews. Kids know who they are talking to. My personal opinion is that he isn't interested in
MSU.
Richard Howell...not sure what is going on. If the coaching staff liked him and he was sincerely interested, why wouldn't they recruit him? It is possible that he isn't a good fit for the program...there is always more going on than any recruiting site will/can tell you.
rcd- are you located in Georgia?
