ESPN did an analysis of teams with top seeds and found that Duke followed by UNC underachieved more as #1-3 seeds than any other schools in the country. My comments were greatly influenced by these findings.

All that may be true but that doesn't change the fact that the Duke name is till HUGE as well as coack K. Not saying that that's the reason kids pick Duke but it sure as hell helps.
