My wife is Jewish (I am not) and I could not disagree more. Granted, Judeism is a complex matter but children born of a Jewish mother under Halakha (basically Jewish law) are considered Jews, plain and simple. Children born of a non-Jewish mother and a Jewish father are not considered Jews, so if anything the pressure is on the male to marry Jewish.
I also have done my fair share of world travel and living in foreign countries. I would add to the list of countries that frown on inter-ethnic dating as a society- Japan (IMHO tops the list) and Germany.
