The interesting and funny for me about this conversation is this....
When I did my time at university at MSU and dated white women, we use to get all the "stares" it didn't bother me half as much as the women I was with...
When I did the rest of my uni life in England, no problems at all.... The UK is light years ahead of the US in terms of being multicultrual.... In fact my white friends get more upset if the odd racial slur was thrown at me by the "morons", it just like water off a ducks back to me..........
It is always interesting because when I go back to New York and Chicago and Atlanta to see the folks... you still get the stares.. but not as many as you use to... so it is heading in the right direction.... slowly.... but getting there.....
